Project Overview
Gaia Fest is an event in beautiful Wakefield to gather and celebrate life with yoga, activities, treatments, nature, and music! The creators of Gaia Fest want their festival goers to experience a fusion of music, art, movement, and breath and to share something magical. The perfect blend for personalized adventures while enjoying the gorgeous ground of Gaia Wellness Retreat. They offer yoga and workshops with on-site practitioners, an invitation for a swim or paddle, and some of the best vegetarian food. This event is community focused and helps create a safe and happy environment for everyone to play, explore and grow.
They came to me looking for social media posts, web banners, and posters to promote the joy and free-spirited experience of Gaia Fest.
The Goal: Strategy & Development
I aimed to create intriguing posters and social media assets that captured a feeling that would resonate with their target audience. My objective for this design was to create visuals that instantly convey the festival's unique essence and just how special it was.
To achieve this, I used bold and saturated colours, combining warm and cool tones to illuminate a connection to the vivid ambiance of the event. I also incorporated soft touches of light and sparkle with fairy dust, smoke from a campfire and mystical-like graphics into the design to emulate an enchanted forest. A captivating visual presence that invites thoughtfulness and appreciation for the event. The goal was to draw people in and make them want to learn more.
